Customer story Küfer
The Küfer family wanted to create not just a property but an individual, planned home, modern yet friendly, spacious and with its own garden. SchwörerHaus fulfilled their wish.
The starting position is almost perfect: the rented 4-room apartment with a beautiful garden area is affordable and spacious, the location is ideal. In five minutes Philipp Küfer can get on the motorway towards Stuttgart, where he works as a teacher. The rest of the family – wife Tanja and daughters Paulina and Elisa – can set off conveniently from home. Because their employment conditions were not expected to change, Tanja and Philipp Küfer decided to stay living here. In principle there was nothing to stop them creating property too – a real home with their own garden. “This is somewhere you can do what you want. The children can run around and sometimes make a noise, you are just more free than in a communal garden,” Tanja Küfer comments on the desire for a green area of their own.
An individually planned home, modern and friendly with its own garden
When looking at the latest brochures, they both immediately fell in love with one house that was shown: with its classic pitched roof, partial wooden façade and floor-length windows, it looked modern yet friendly, a real family house. After the first rough calculation by the Schwörer building consultant fell within the budget, they quickly got together with architect Hansi Boos. He started by determining the living requirements of the construction family: large children’s rooms, a large family bathroom – which had been missing from the rented apartment. However, the most important thing was a large, separate study for Philipp Küfer.
The experienced architect converted the construction family’s ideas into solid building plans, with the addition of a few suggestions of his own. For example, he positioned the study immediately after the front door, with the guest WC and cloakroom niche opposite. This area functions like a separate office inside the house. Today, the parents enjoy village life and the proximity to their friends. At the same time, they value the private living ambience in their single-family home and on the beautiful patio. The children are pleased with their large rooms with floor-length windows from which they can see out even when they are playing on the floor, and of course the hobby room in the basement where they can tinker to their hearts’ content.
