Leading prefabricated house manufacturer
Outstanding quality, attractive design, good price-performance ratio and reliable customer service are our claims – all naturally in consideration of nature and the health of our customers.
The Dehm family can finally use their patio and garden undisturbed. Where the view was previously of a head-height hedge and the ear was tormented by traffic noise, there is now peace and the restful ambience of a beautifully designed courtyard with plenty of privacy. The main house is occupied by the family’s four children – young adults who either still go to school or who are in training or studying. Of course, the parents use the main house too. With their FlyingSpace as an addition to the main house, the Dehm family have created extra living space, clever visual and sound protection from the road, and an attractive garden situation. An affordable extension should be the final step, so that all members of the family, parents and children, have enough space.
The FlyingSpace is at a slight angle to the main house, with the patio as a connecting element.
Externally, the modern residential and older main building blend together. Both rendered façades have been kept in white, and the windows have a similar design. On the garden side, three large fixed glazing panes allow plenty of light into the inside of the cube, which has the dimensions 12.50 x 4.35 metres. Towards the road a high window in landscape format provides light in the dining area, and a floor-length, obscured window ensures daylight in the bathroom with no unwanted view inside.
Conclusion of the building owner: “The concept of the FlyingSpace is simple and straightforward, adaptable, needs no basement and no floor slab, and if necessary can be dismantled at low cost and rebuilt in a different location. The ecological standard is very high. Modern design, flexible adaptation of the premises, all options for the design of window areas and the complete interior design make it flexible and simple for any building owners to define their own requirements.”
