Conversion and extension of a Schwörer house, year of construction 1978.
The young Schmitt family moved into the parents’ house in 2006. At that time, the young couple lived on the ground floor and the parents moved into the attic. Initial modernisation work was ordered from SchwörerHaus.
When the family of four reported that they needed more space, the decision was made in 2019 to have an extension – executed by SchwörerHaus.

In the new build, the plan was to have a small distributor corridor, bedroom, children’s room and bathroom.
There was great emphasis on a threshold-free connection to the existing building. The new floorings are an excellent match for the existing ones. The supply comes from the heating system in the main house.
New front door to match the extension
The main entrance door picks up on the modern design of the extension and sets grey colour accents.
The banister has a matching, stainless steel
design.
New roof terrace as a result of the extension
The attic apartment also benefits from the extension: a fabulous roof terrace with a magnificent view invites you to linger.
The other part of the terrace was designed as a green roof, which is good for the environment.
